When we begin working on a new project, we need to issue a contract, titled General Terms, and a Statement of Work. This happens before any project work begins. These agreements are normally issued by the project steward or project manager.
The General Terms and Statement of Work Templates are located in Google Drive via the following path:
Common Knowledge > Governance > Project Contracts
- General Terms – when issuing this contract, you shouldn’t need to change anything about it. Just send it as is.
- Statement of Work template – this needs to be created on a per project basis, bespoke for each instance. It outlines the activities we’ve agreed to perform undertake as part of the project. The Statement of Work is available as a Google Docs template via the following path:

Both the General Terms and the Statement of Work need need to be electronically signed by both us and the other party. We use Dropbox Sign for this.
